Glad you've solved itTeser0ck wrote:SOLVED !!!

Re: OpenGL with vertex arrays
I decided to edit this topic since I didn't want to spam the forum with tedious questions like this. So I finally took qpHalcy0n's advice...Or reality slap and actually implemented a vertex array for Crafter. (Yes I was stupid enough to render the entire map with the immediate pipeline) Now it works...

Re: OpenGL Textures are not rendering
Well I don't see anything else wrong with the code you've provided.Teser0ck wrote:Thanks for the tip, unfortunately this didn't solved the problem
Try posting your image loading code and your initialization code.
Perhaps there is something wrong there.

Re: OpenGL Textures are not rendering
Just glanced through your code but I quickly noticed this: void Sprite::Draw( int Part ) { AssetManager::GetRSInstance()->BindTexture( M_Tex ); CBox = new Rect( Part * M_SoC->x, M_SoC->y, Part * M_SoC->x + M_SoC->x, M_SoC->y ); AssetManager::GetRSInstance()->PrepareScene(); AssetManager::GetRSInstan...

You do realize that all of the cool kids are following me, right? ;) Omg I just had the best idea! If I follow you then I'll be a cool kid! :lol: I think you misunderstood. Re: OpenGL texture question
...or you could just split up the geometry. You know that the vertex transformation pipeline is extremely optimized and that you should have no problem pushing dozens of thousands and thousands and thousands of polys through it. Vertex transformation pipeline, optimized. I was about to say the same...

Re: OpenGL texture question
This can not be done as you describe within the fixed function. Sorry. The texture or the geometry must be split or you must write the functionality into a shader program. Well this is going to cause problems :lol: Thanks for the help though. I'm guessing you're just trying to optimize some shit? ....

I guess I could start using it for keeping updates on Crafter. :) Thats funny, i started using mine again for the same exact reason xD. Im addicted now (...
