yea thats what I was thinking, i think they might frown upon a couple consoles on my desk

Also K-Bal, I finally elevated the speaker, it's amazing how much better it sounds now. I think the bass end was cancelling seriously bad before, because the low freqs are way cleaner now.

Actually the influence should be more significant on the higher frequencies but I'm glad it helped

While learning for my Audio Technology exam I discovered that the influence on the bass frequencies is pretty high (because of the different room modes aka resonance frequencies which go pretty deep (~30Hz) even in small rooms).

Edit: You should also have the lateral space to the walls equal for both speakers

Sweet. I love threads like this one. I will totally post a picture once I finish moving to my new apartment. My computer is 300 miles away right now, and I have no workspace to speak of. My apartment is literally hollow as I take care of school/graduation nonsense.
